This week, WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite went head-to-head in a ratings face-off. NXT reached 619,000 viewers on The CW, a 5.3 percent increase from the previous week, even with a Tuesday broadcast due to election coverage. This special episode, aired from Philadelphia’s former ECW Arena, also saw a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic—a 21.4 percent rise and the show’s highest rating since October.

AEW Dynamite, in its regular Wednesday slot on TBS, attracted 523,000 viewers, a 16.7 percent decrease from the prior week, marking one of its lowest viewership totals. Dynamite recorded a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic, reflecting a 15.8 percent drop and tying for its second-lowest rating.

Both shows went up against an NBA game on ESPN featuring the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors, which led the cable charts with 2.14 million viewers and a 0.64 rating in the 18-49 demo. Election coverage also boosted news viewership, adding further competition for both wrestling programs.

Compared to last year’s week, AEW Dynamite recorded a 35 percent drop in overall viewership and a 40.7 percent decline in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT saw a 22 percent drop in viewership and a 34.6 percent decline in the 18-49 demographic. Over the past 10 weeks, Dynamite has averaged a 17.9 percent decline in total viewers and 20 percent in the 18-49 demographic. NXT has averaged a 9.9 percent drop in viewership and 10.5 percent in the demo.
