Big E to Appear in Peacock’s New Show “Laid” Amid Uncertain WWE Return

Despite the fractures to his C1 and C6 vertebrae, Big E avoided surgery, but the long recovery process has left his return timeline uncertain.

While fans eagerly await news about his comeback, Big E is taking on new challenges outside of wrestling. He will be featured in Peacock’s upcoming series, “Laid,” set to stream all eight episodes on December 19. The show, described as a dark rom-com, centers on a woman who discovers that her former lovers are dying in mysterious ways and must revisit her past relationships to move forward.

Big E’s role in “Laid” will likely bring viewers a different side of the former WWE Champion as he portrays one of the protagonist’s exes. The recently released trailer hints that things might take a turn for the worse for his character.

As for his wrestling future, Big E remains hopeful about returning to the ring. He has neck scans scheduled over the next 3-6 months, which will determine the possibility of a comeback. Until then, fans are excited to see him shine in this new acting role.
