Foley Questions Trump’s Actions and Urges Americans to Look Deeper

Summary

– Mick Foley criticized Donald Trump in a recent video, arguing that Trump’s rhetoric and actions are harmful.

– He emphasized that Trump’s past of not paying workers shows a pattern of exploiting hardworking Americans.

– Foley shared a story illustrating how Trump’s refusal to pay contractors led to significant personal losses for everyday people.

Mick Foley, WWE Hall of Famer, didn’t hold back in his recent video criticizing Donald Trump. Known for his candid takes on politics, Foley described how his views on Trump soured eight years ago. Although he admits that Trump brought some excitement to politics in 2016, he no longer finds anything “fun” about the former president’s approach.

Foley pointed to Trump’s use of the term “the Enemy Within” as an example of dangerous rhetoric, associating it with divisive tactics that concern him deeply. He questioned why so many hardworking Americans support someone he views as a con artist. Foley called on people to research Trump’s history of failing to pay contractors, saying, “Look up the data. See how many times Donald Trump has failed to pay his contractors and workers over the last 30 years.”

He shared a story told by Kevin Nash about a bartender whose father, an electrician, worked on Trump’s Taj Mahal project but was never paid. Without the means to fight back legally, the man lost everything, a story that Foley believes shows Trump’s disregard for the working class.

Foley didn’t hold back on other topics, mentioning a recent NPR report on Trump’s threats against over 100 political figures, including Kamala Harris and Barack Obama. He warned that Trump’s rhetoric could target anyone, even people like himself.

Speaking directly to Trump, Foley questioned whether he would face retaliation for criticizing Trump’s Supreme Court picks, such as Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. In a moment of humor mixed with frustration, Foley said he considered calling Trump a “douchebag” but worried about the consequences before ultimately using the term. He ended his message with a direct call for viewers to support Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
