Lashley Weighs Wrestling and MMA Offers After WWE Exit

Summary

– Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract expired, with his last appearance on the May 5th live event in France.

– Lashley hinted at potential wrestling and MMA opportunities during a recent virtual signing.

– He is looking to make a decision in the coming weeks after recovering from surgery.

Bobby Lashley has kept fans curious since WWE moved him to the alum section of its website on August 16, signaling his departure. Reports confirmed his contract had expired, with Lashley’s last match taking place during a WWE live event in France on May 5th. The injury kept him out of the King of the Ring tournament, and he had not been seen on WWE television since April 12.

During a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Lashley opened up about what’s next for him, sharing that he has several options. “I have a few wrestling offers on the table. I have a few boxing matches, MMA matches, a lot of stuff on the table,” Lashley said.

When asked about a possible return to TNA (now IMPACT Wrestling), he expressed interest in a feud with Nic, who runs the promotion and rekindled a rivalry with Moose. He also acknowledged opportunities with AEW, where he could join friends like Lio Rush, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin.

Lashley clarified that he would focus solely on one path, wrestling or MMA, without mixing the two. He also mentioned having surgery earlier in the summer but feels strong and ready for his next chapter. “I have a lot more left in the tank. I think the next few weeks we should see something, something pop off. It’s time to put pen to paper and give back to these fans,” Lashley concluded.

Fans eagerly await Lashley’s next move, as the former WWE star seems poised to make a big announcement soon.
