WWE NXT kicked off with a major surprise as Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso unexpectedly appeared, breaking up the rising tension between Trick Williams and Wes Lee. The crowd was buzzing as Trick, who recently regained the NXT Championship for his second reign, was met with loud cheers to open the show. His celebration, however, was short-lived when Wes Lee made his way to the ring, setting his sights on Trick’s title.

Before Lee could fully issue his challenge, Jey Uso’s music hit, and the Intercontinental Champion made his way to the ring. Fresh off his Raw victory, where he retained his title against Xavier Woods, Jey looked poised for action, despite having been attacked by Bron Breakker right after that match. His presence alone sent the NXT crowd into a frenzy, with dueling chants of “Whoop that Trick” and “Yeet” filling the arena.

Although Jey didn’t say much, the atmosphere shifted immediately, leaving fans buzzing about whether a potential alliance or rivalry might form between Trick and Jey. The two shared a brief but intense moment in the ring, adding intrigue to what’s next in NXT.

As the night progressed, NXT North American Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan teamed up with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to face off against Fatal Influence in one of the most anticipated matches of the night. The star-studded tag team bout continued to build excitement as NXT moved forward.
