Drew McIntyre’s rise to superstardom in recent months is remarkable and was a long time coming. After one of his worst losses at the 2022 Clash at The Castle event, McIntyre admitted he wasn’t happy singing with Tyson Fury after the show.

The Scottish Warrior faced off against Roman Reigns at the 2022 WWE Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship but could not win it. Following the match, fans were puzzled as Tyson Fury came out and started singing “Sweet Caroline” with Drew McIntyre. While speaking to Cultaholic, McIntyre made it clear he wasn’t happy singing with Tyson Fury at Clash at The Castle after losing to Roman Reigns.

“I was so happy getting Clash in Wales and getting the first stadium show since SummerSlam 92′ and getting the main event, I wasn’t happy getting screwed and the worst moment of my life singing that stupid song afterwards. But I’m very happy that you preserved, you believed, you kept working and you might just get a redo and it’s not just a redo, it couldn’t be any more perfect. It’s literally in Glasgow.”

Drew McIntyre is now set to challenge Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at The Castle on June 15th. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if McIntyre can finally pick up the win this time, bringing his journey full circle with a victory in Glasgow.
