The May 28th edition of WWE NXT brought a major surprise for fans with the appearance of Jordynne Grace. As she prepares for a significant match at NXT Battleground, Grace reveals why she has not chosen to sign with WWE in the past.
By the conclusion of Battleground, Grace will have made three notable appearances for WWE in 2024. She secured a victory over Stevie Turner during the June 4th NXT episode and also participated in the women’s Royal Rumble earlier in January.
In a preview of her upcoming sit-down interview with former NXT interviewer and host McKenzie Mitchell, Grace discussed the collaboration between WWE and TNA. She mentioned that there were times when her TNA contract was nearing its end, leading to discussions with WWE. However, she ultimately decided to remain with IMPACT/TNA due to uncertainties about her potential treatment within WWE.
“I really truly think it’s been about timing. There’s been a few times when my contract has been coming up and I’ve talked to WWE and I kept staying at TNA because it’s where I was comfortable and I didn’t know how WWE was gonna treat me. So, it’s just kind of crazy to me that it wasn’t the time then but it’s the time now and now I get the best of both worlds. Everything works out exactly the way it’s supposed to,” Grace shared.
Fans eagerly await how Jordynne Grace will fare against Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground on June 9th, with significant hype surrounding her NXT Women’s Championship match.
