During the show, Meta-Four members Noam Dar and Oro Mensah were attacked by an unknown assailant. Fellow stablemate Jakarta Jackson suspected their rival, NXT Champion Trick Williams, to be behind the attacks.
The drama peaked during the main event, where Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans, with Sexyy Red in their corner, secured a victory over The Gallus. As the celebration continued, Lash Legend confronted Williams, questioning his involvement in the attacks. Williams denied the allegations, but the lights went out before the confrontation could escalate.
When the lights returned, Trick Williams was blindsided by a surprise attack from former AEW star Ethan Page. Revealing himself as the assailant behind the previous attacks, Page laid Williams out and held the NXT title high, closing the show on a dramatic note.
