WWE continues to solidify its status as the global leader in professional wrestling, and its influence has only grown since Triple H took the reins in 2022. This burgeoning success has attracted the interest of various wrestling organizations worldwide, including CyberFight, the parent company of Pro Wrestling NOAH, DDT Pro-Wrestling, and Tokyo Joshi Pro.

CyberFight, a subsidiary of CyberAgent established in 2020, has expressed a strong interest in deepening its relationship with WWE. CyberAgent also owns ABEMA, a prominent streaming service in Japan that now serves as the primary platform for WWE content, including RAW, SmackDown, and premium live events.

During a press conference on May 16, CyberFight announced a significant leadership change. Yasuo Okamoto will assume the roles of President and Representative Director of CyberFight, effective June 1st, replacing Sanshiro Takagi. Okamoto took the opportunity to thank Takagi for his leadership and highlighted the company’s future objectives, one of which is to “strengthen the relationship with WWE.”

Historically, WWE and NOAH have collaborated on various occasions, including a notable match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Keiji Mutoh in 2023. This history of cooperation serves as a promising foundation for future partnerships. As Okamoto takes on his new role, the focus will be on exploring opportunities to further integrate WWE content and events into the Japanese market through ABEMA, enhancing the reach and impact of both organizations.

The wrestling community will be keenly watching how this relationship develops, with the potential for exciting collaborations and shared events that could benefit fans and wrestlers alike.
