“We wrote a new deal. We wrote a completely new deal. No extension. New contract,” Ross shared. He attributed the smooth negotiation process to AEW President Tony Khan’s unwavering support and admiration for his work.

Ross expressed his contentment with the terms of the agreement, stating, “I think we’re down for another year. That’s plenty. I’m happy with it.” He emphasized his readiness to continue contributing to AEW’s pay-per-view events and major shows, indicating his ongoing dedication to the promotion.

Despite recovering from a broken hip, Ross has remained actively involved in AEW, recently providing commentary for key matches at AEW Revolution, including Sting’s farewell bout. His commitment to rehabilitation underscores his unwavering passion for his craft and his continued commitment to AEW.
