NWA Strikes Double Deal with The CW Network

NWA Power and Behind-the-Scenes Reality Series to Air on Top 20 Network

The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) is making significant strides in its television presence. Recent reports indicate that NWA has secured not one, but two TV deals with The CW Network. Billy Corgan, the driving force behind NWA, had hinted at this development during his stint on Busted Open Radio, mentioning an alliance with a top-tier network. Sources from Haus of Wrestling confirm that both these deals are with The CW, and fans can expect an official announcement soon.

One of the deals is believed to be for NWA Power, the promotion’s flagship show. The other is set to offer viewers a unique perspective with a reality TV series, focusing on the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the wrestling promotion.

This news aligns with NWA’s announcement from late August, where they shared about significant production upgrades, signaling the dawn of a new era. These enhancements were likely in preparation for these new television contracts.

Further cementing its growth trajectory, NWA also revealed the revival of its old territory system. EC3’s Exodus Pro Wrestling promotion has been rebranded as NWA Exodus Pro Midwest, marking its inclusion as the first new affiliate in this system. There’s buzz that these new territories might find a home on NWA’s YouTube channel in the future.
