Fastlane’s Opening Shocker: An Unlikely Duo Reigns Supreme
Fastlane 2023, hosted at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, was an event that promised surprises and delivered right from the get-go. The opening match saw an unexpected pairing of Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, two superstars from different wrestling backgrounds, coming together to challenge for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. Their opponents, Judgment Day, were in for a tough fight.

Seizing the opportunity, Cody Rhodes executed a Crossroads on the announce table. This was followed by a synchronized Cody Cutter, another Crossroads on Finn Balor, and the culmination saw Rhodes and Uso crowned as the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
