Cena and Rhodes’ Appearances Boost Viewership Ahead of the Big Event

WWE SmackDown, the blue brand of the wrestling giant, has witnessed a slight uptick in its viewership as it gears up for the much-anticipated WWE Fastlane event. The recent episode, which served as the go-home show before Fastlane, boasted appearances from wrestling stalwarts like John Cena and RAW’s Cody Rhodes. This star-studded lineup seems to have struck a chord with the audience, as the episode averaged 2.20 million viewers. This is a commendable increase from the previous week’s preliminary count of 2.155 million viewers.

In terms of key demographics, SmackDown scored a 0.60 rating in the P18-49 segment, marking an improvement from the prior week’s overnight number of 0.53. It’s worth noting that SmackDown clinched the top spot in key demos for primetime network programming, further solidifying its dominance in the wrestling entertainment sphere.

With Fastlane on the horizon, fans are eagerly awaiting the matchups and potential storyline twists that the event promises. The surge in viewership and ratings is a testament to WWE’s ability to keep the audience engaged and invested in its product.
