O’Reilly underwent a neck fusion surgery in September to tackle nerve compression issues, which had been causing him pain and weakening his right arm. However, the road to recovery wasn’t smooth. O’Reilly faced an unforeseen post-surgery complication called C5 palsy, rendering his arm immobile. From adapting to daily tasks with his non-dominant hand to drawing strength from his role as a father, O’Reilly’s journey was marked by resilience.
