The Road to Stardom Begins as NXT Announces Participants for the Women’s Breakout Tournament
NXT has pulled back the curtain on the participants set to compete in the much-anticipated Women’s Breakout Tournament. The announcement, made during the NXT No Mercy event, revealed the names of the eight women who will vie for supremacy: Jakara Jackson, Karmen Petrovic, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Dani Palmer, Kelani Jordan, and Arianna Grace.
Several of these competitors, including Jackson, Vice, Palmer, Jordan, and Grace, have previously showcased their skills on NXT TV. Notably, Kelani Jordan made an appearance on the NXT No Mercy’s pre-show, where she faced off against Blair Davenport. Meanwhile, Arianna Grace, a participant in last year’s tournament, is making a triumphant return after a hiatus due to an ACL injury sustained last October. She marked her comeback with appearances at NXT house shows earlier this month.
Last year’s tournament saw Roxanne Perez clinch victory against Tiffany Stratton in the finals. Both Perez and Stratton later ascended to the pinnacle of NXT’s women’s division, capturing the NXT Women’s Championship.
