September 20 Dynamite Pulls Strong Numbers Despite Not Crossing the Million Mark
AEW Dynamite’s episode on September 20 has managed to rake in an impressive 984,000 viewers, marking a significant jump from the 888,000 viewers garnered the previous Wednesday, as detailed by Wrestlenomics.
A glance into the historical data of Dynamite’s viewership since 2019 reveals a fluctuating trend. The recent episode managed a 0.36 rating in the key 18 to 49 demographic, reflecting an ascent from the 0.310 rating seen on both September 6 and 13.
Signifying the annual “Grand Slam” edition, this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, however, fell short of achieving a viewership north of 1 million, a feat the 2021 Grand Slam managed with 1.273 million viewers. The 2022 edition also managed to pull in 1.039 million fans.
Despite the slide in overall viewership for Grand Slam this year, it’s noteworthy that the episode was Dynamite’s highest total viewership since February 22. Additionally, it also claimed the top spot in key demographic ratings since September 14 of the previous year.
