Wrestling Fans Brace for a Packed Calendar as AEW Gears Up for a Year of Action

AEW, All Elite Wrestling, has been a breath of fresh air in the world of professional wrestling, consistently delivering thrilling content and captivating storylines. In recent years, AEW has steadily increased the frequency of their annual events, treating fans to memorable spectacles like WrestleDream and All In London.

As we look ahead to 2024, AEW enthusiasts have even more reason to be excited. The company is gearing up for a jam-packed schedule, promising an abundance of wrestling action throughout the year.

AEW’s current television agreement is with Warner Bros. Discovery, a deal that has Dynamite lighting up TBS screens and Rampage and Collision thrilling TNT viewers. Meanwhile, their pay-per-view events have found a home on Bleacher Report.

Rumors have been swirling about AEW potentially making their content available on the Max streaming service. While earlier speculations hinted at All In being streamed on Max, the technical readiness for such a move needed to be in place at the time.

However, wrestling aficionados will be thrilled to learn that Andrew Zarian, the Mat Men Podcast host, has reported AEW’s ambitious plans. Not only does AEW aim to expand its pay-per-view calendar to include a whopping 12 events per year, but the company is also eyeing Max as a platform to make their content more accessible.

Zarian stated, “I feel confident that AEW will be on Max in 2024 and AEW will expand its PPV Schedule to 12 a year.”

AEW’s negotiations with Warner Bros. Discovery are ongoing as they seek to extend their television rights agreement. The interest from Warner Bros. Discovery in AEW expanding its PPV schedule hints at an exciting future for wrestling fans.

With the potential addition of AEW content to the Max streaming service, fans may have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite wrestling action through a more cost-effective subscription, providing an alternative to shelling out $50 per event.

As we eagerly await further updates, one thing is certain: AEW is gearing up for a year that promises to redefine how fans experience wrestling entertainment.
