CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, Joins Husband Miro in AEW
Surprises are the norm in professional wrestling, and AEW’s All Out event in Chicago was no exception. Fans were in for a treat when, after Miro’s match with Powerhouse Hobbs, CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, made her much-anticipated debut in All Elite Wrestling.
Lana, who was a prominent figure in WWE and a star of “Total Divas,” had been conspicuously absent from the wrestling scene since her release. Many speculated about her next move, especially given her real-life relationship with Miro, who had already established himself in AEW. While Miro had occasionally teased the possibility of Lana joining him, nothing was confirmed until All Out.
The sequence of events was nothing short of dramatic. Miro emerged victorious against Powerhouse Hobbs but found himself at the receiving end of a post-match beatdown. Just when things looked bleak for Miro, CJ Perry made her entrance, catching everyone, including Miro, off guard. Miro’s reaction was one of genuine shock, adding to the authenticity of the moment. He left the scene, leaving fans eager for the next chapter in this unfolding storyline.
Both Miro and CJ Perry had been released from WWE during the pandemic. While Miro quickly found his footing in AEW, CJ Perry explored other ventures before making her AEW debut. This reunion of the former “Lana and Rusev” duo from WWE is a significant development, and fans are excited to see how their storyline will evolve in AEW.
AEW has consistently delivered in terms of surprises, engaging storylines, and top-tier wrestling action. The addition of CJ Perry to its roster is yet another testament to the promotion’s commitment to providing fans with fresh and exciting content.
It's @TheCJPerry, Miro’s hot, flexible wife, running to the ring to save Miro!
