Basketball Legend to Corner The Acclaimed in AEW Trios Title Match
Dennis Rodman, a name synonymous with basketball greatness, made a splash in the wrestling world once again. The United Center was abuzz during AEW Collision when Rodman graced the ring. However, before he could share his thoughts, he was interrupted by a slew of personalities, including Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, and others. Drawing parallels between their past affiliations with the nWo, Jarrett extended an invitation to Rodman to join his group.
But the night had more surprises in store. As tensions escalated, The Acclaimed, comprising Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn, came to Rodman’s rescue. Standing tall, The Acclaimed and Gunn challenged Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Singh for an AEW Trios title match at AEW All Out. The cherry on top? Rodman will be right there, in The Acclaimed’s corner.
Rodman’s association with wrestling has been around for a while. During the Monday Night Wars era, he aligned with Hulk Hogan and the nWo in WCW. He’s had notable matches, teaming with Hogan against the likes of Karl Malone, Diamond Dallas Page, and even facing off against Randy Savage.
With AEW All Out on the horizon, fans eagerly anticipate this Trios title match. With Rodman in their corner, The Acclaimed and Gunn have added an X-factor that could very well tilt the scales in their favor.
