The WWE Visionary Discusses the Realities and Risks of Wrestling with a Recurring Injury

Seth Rollins, often referred to as the ‘Visionary of WWE,’ has been a stalwart in the wrestling world for over a decade. His dedication to the craft is evident, as he consistently puts his body on the line for the entertainment of fans. However, like many athletes, Rollins is no stranger to injuries. Recently, he shed light on a recurring back injury that has been a cause for concern.

During an “After the Bell” episode with Corey Graves, Rollins candidly discussed the severity of his back issues. He revealed that his back is not at its 100% best, a fact that became a focal point in his ongoing feud with Shinsuke Nakamura. Rollins elaborated on the nature of his injury, mentioning two stress fractures in the lowest vertebrae of his lower back. These fractures, he explained, can flare up and become excruciatingly painful, affecting his performance in the ring and daily activities.

The gravity of the situation was further emphasized when Rollins admitted, “My back sucks. I’ve had these injuries for four or five years now… if they accrue too much damage, it can become extremely painful… So there is absolutely a danger in that.”

As the WWE Universe gears up for Rollins’ match against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Payback, where the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is on the line, concerns about Rollins’ physical condition are palpable. With the title and his health at stake, the upcoming match promises to be an intense showdown.
