A Unique Collaboration Celebrating the Confluence of Wrestling and Football
WWE, the global titan of professional wrestling, has unveiled its latest venture in collaboration with the NFL: the Legacy Championship Belts. This exciting partnership is not the first time the two giants have come together. Over the years, former NFL players, including the likes of Pat McAfee, have transitioned to WWE, showcasing the symbiotic relationship between the two industries.
According to the Sports Business Journal, WWE and the NFL have inked a multi-year licensing agreement to introduce NFL-inspired WWE Legacy title belts. These belts will incorporate the official colors and branding of all 32 NFL teams, offering fans a unique blend of their favorite sports. The officially licensed products are set to launch on NFLShop.com, WWEShop.com, and Fanatics.com.
This collaboration marks the first licensing agreement between WWE and the NFL. It follows in the footsteps of WWE’s previous licensing ventures, including a deal with MLB in 2021 and custom side plates for all 14 SEC schools last year.
