WWE Superstar Edge Reveals His Contract Details Ahead of SmackDown Bout
In a recent interview, WWE Superstar Edge provided clarity regarding the status of his WWE contract. Speaking to the Fan Morning Show, Edge disclosed that while his match against Sheamus on the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown was technically the last match of his current contract, the contract itself expires at the end of September.
Edge expressed his uncertainty about the future, stating, “I can’t say I haven’t thought about it. I have, for sure. But I realize that I haven’t come to any conclusions and I’m kind of torn, honestly.” He emphasized his desire to perform at his best and mentioned the need to evaluate his physical condition after matches. “That’s why I really want to collect myself after this thing, take a big ol’ deep breath, and decide what that is. My contract is up at the end of September. This is my last contracted match. I have a lot of decisions to make,” Edge added.
After the SmackDown episode concluded, Edge shared a moment with Sheamus, hinting that he might not wrestle in Toronto again. Following a fierce brawl, the two wrestlers shared a pint of Guinness as a sign of respect.
