Two-Night Spectacle in Philadelphia Witnesses Unprecedented Demand
WWE is gearing up for a grand two-night event with WrestleMania 40, and fans have shown their immense excitement and support. Tickets for the event went on sale recently, and the response was nothing short of phenomenal. With two nights of WrestleMania action, the potential ticket sales essentially doubled. The initial response was outstanding, with Wrestle Tix reporting that a staggering 90,000 tickets for WWE WrestleMania 40 were sold. This count includes the combined number for both nights. With this, WWE has successfully broken its all-time gate record.
The sports entertainment extravaganza is set to take place in Philadelphia, marking its return to the city after a hiatus of 25 years. Fans can look forward to two nights of thrilling in-ring action at the Lincoln Financial Field on April 6th and 7th, 2024. Interestingly, despite the record-breaking ticket sales, no matches for WrestleMania 40 have been officially announced yet. This hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm, with fans eagerly awaiting the “showcase of the immortals” next year.
