AEW Star’s Legal Proceedings Captured on Video Amidst Controversy
Cash Wheeler, known in the wrestling world as one half of the FTR tag team, recently faced legal proceedings due to an arrest on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident allegedly stemmed from a road rage situation and has now been captured on video during Wheeler’s arraignment.
The footage reveals Wheeler’s attorney speaking on his behalf, emphasizing that the AEW World Tag Team Champion turned himself in following the issuance of a warrant by the Orlando Police Department. The attorney requested a bond of $2500, highlighting Wheeler’s clean record, U.S. citizenship, and his residence in Maitland. The court was also informed that Wheeler does not know the alleged victim personally.
After hearing the defense and considering the state’s lack of objection, the judge granted the bond with conditions of no contact with the alleged victim and no possession of weapons.
AEW, in response to the situation, has stated that they are closely monitoring the ongoing developments. The wrestling community and fans await further updates on the matter and potential implications for Wheeler’s wrestling career.
