Police Report Sheds Light on Wheeler’s Alleged Actions on Interstate 4
Cash Wheeler, known for his wrestling prowess, has recently been embroiled in a legal situation that has caught the attention of many. A police report has been released detailing the events surrounding his arrest for aggravated assault with a firearm.
According to the report, Wheeler was allegedly seen driving a Jeep and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun in an aggressive manner. The victim, Daniel Matta, stated that he noticed the Jeep weaving through traffic and honking its horn. As Matta moved to the right lane to allow the Jeep to pass, Wheeler allegedly drove on the right shoulder, and as he did so, Matta claims to have seen Wheeler pointing a black semi-automatic handgun out of the driver’s window, causing him to fear for his life.
Matta then took photos of the Jeep, bearing a Florida tag, and called 911 to report the incident. He provided the vehicle’s details and the events that transpired to dispatch. Later, a photo lineup was presented to Matta, where he identified Wheeler with 100% certainty.
The wrestling community and fans are closely monitoring the situation, especially as Wheeler’s match against The Young Bucks at “All In London” is still scheduled. MJF, the AEW World Champion, has also publicly defended Wheeler on social media.
