AEW Star Faces Charges of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
Cash Wheeler, also known as Daniel Wheeler, was arrested on August 18 on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm. The alleged offense took place on July 27, with a warrant for his arrest issued the following day. Wheeler has since entered a plea of not guilty via his attorney with the Circuit Court of Orange County, Florida.
During his arraignment hearing on August 18, Wheeler’s attorney requested a bond of $2500. The incident, described as a road rage-type situation, involved Wheeler allegedly flashing a gun at the victim. The bond was granted, and Wheeler was instructed to hand over any weapons he possesses to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office within 12 hours of his release. Additionally, he has been ordered to avoid any contact with the alleged victims.
AEW, in response to the situation, released a statement to the Orlando Sentinel, stating their awareness of the charge and that they are closely monitoring the situation. They also confirmed that Wheeler is fully cooperating with local authorities.
