Ryan Nemeth was reportedly sent home from the recent AEW Collision taping. According to sources from Fightful Select, Nemeth was initially brought into town for the Collision taping. However, shortly after his arrival, a coach informed him that he wouldn’t be needed for the event. Consequently, arrangements were made for Nemeth’s immediate return flight.

This incident gains more intrigue when considering Nemeth’s past interactions with CM Punk. Following Punk’s return promo, Nemeth tweeted earlier this year, labeling Punk as “literally the softest man alive.” This led to a confrontation between the two at the debut of Collision. While details of their exchange remain private, it’s known that Nemeth had to explain his tweet, and the situation did not escalate into a physical altercation. It’s important to note that there’s no confirmation that this past incident had any bearing on the decision to send Nemeth home from the Collision taping.
