Starks’ Recent Actions on AEW Collision Lead to In-Ring Ban, But He’s Not Going Anywhere
Ricky Starks, known for his audacious antics, has found himself in hot water with AEW officials. Following his controversial actions on AEW Collision last week, the promotion has decided to suspend him from in-ring competition for a span of 30 days.
During a recent episode of AEW Collision, Starks faced off against CM Punk in a high-stakes match for the real AEW World title. However, his encounter with special referee Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat drew the ire of officials. In a display of sheer disrespect, Starks assaulted Steamboat with the championship belt, whipping him multiple times.
During this week’s Collision, Tony Schiavone informed Starks of his suspension. But Starks, ever the provocateur, remained unfazed. He revealed that he’s secured a manager’s license, ensuring his continued presence on television. Starks’ intent is clear – even if he’s not competing in the ring, he aims to be a thorn in the side of AEW and its roster.
