Wade Barrett Joins Byron Saxton for WWE Main Event Commentary
Under the creative direction of Triple H, WWE has been in flux with numerous changes to its presentation and roster. One of the latest shake-ups involves the WWE’s Main Event commentary team. Wade Barrett, who had a notable first stint in WWE, winning the inaugural season of NXT and leading the Nexus, returned to the company in 2020 as a color commentator. Recently, WWE made significant changes to its commentary lineup, with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett becoming the voices of Monday Night Raw. Cole also continues his duties on SmackDown.
According to a report by PWInsider, there’s a new addition to the WWE Main Event’s commentary team. Wade Barrett will now accompany Byron Saxton, replacing Kevin Patrick who previously teamed up with Saxton. How fans will react to this new pairing in the coming weeks remains to be seen.
