After a Year-Long Hiatus, Thunder Rosa’s Anticipated Return to the Ring is on the Horizon
Thunder Rosa, a standout talent in AEW, has been notably absent from the wrestling scene since last August due to a back injury. Fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on her condition and potential return. In a recent vlog, Rosa shared her conversation with AEW’s Dr. Michael “Doc” Sampson, who provided some promising news.
Dr. Sampson mentioned that Rosa has been diligent with her training and rehabilitation. He revealed plans for Rosa to participate in a five-minute mini-match in Greensboro to assess her back’s condition. Rosa could be on the brink of her much-anticipated return if this test goes well. When Rosa inquired about her clearance status, Dr. Sampson optimistically stated, “You’re almost there. You’re following protocols; you’re doing everything as expected. Your body is actually listening to you.” He further estimated a window of about three more weeks for her potential return.
While the exact timeline remains uncertain, the recent updates have certainly ignited hope among the AEW community and Thunder Rosa’s fans.
