Vince McMahon and Nick Khan Among the First Board Members of the Newly Formed TKO Company
WWE and UFC are set to merge under UFC’s parent company, Endeavor, and will operate under the name TKO Holdings Group. Endeavor’s recent earnings report indicated that the merger is expected to be finalized by the end of September. A significant development has emerged regarding the leadership structure of this new entity. A recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission revealed the initial board of directors for TKO Holdings. The board will comprise the following members:
– Vince McMahon, Chairman of WWE
– Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor
– Nick Khan, CEO of WWE
– Mark Shapiro, President of William Morris Endeavor
– Steven R. Koonin, CEO of the Atlanta Hawks
– Jonathan A. Kraft, President of the Kraft Group and son of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft
– Egon Durban, Chairman of William Morris Endeavor
– Nancy Tellum, former President of Xbox Entertainment and CBS Television
– Carrie Wheeler, CEO of Opendoor Technologies
– Sonya Medina, Co-founder of Greenlight Growth Capital
One more board member is expected to be selected by WWE in the near future. Despite the merger, both WWE and UFC will continue to operate as they have been, with their respective headquarters in Stamford, CT, and Las Vegas, NV.
