Hikaru Shida to Defend AEW Women’s Title at AEW All In; Challengers to Be Decided in the Coming Days
AEW has announced a new championship bout for the upcoming All In event. The August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite revealed that the AEW Women’s World Championship will be defended in a four-way match at the company’s London pay-per-view. Toni Storm was named as the first participant, while Saraya will face Skye Blue on the August 11 episode of AEW Rampage, with the winner advancing to the four-way match. The third challenger will be decided on the August 16 episode of Dynamite, as Britt Baker faces The Bunny. The fourth spot was determined on the August 9 episode of Dynamite.
Hikaru Shida defeated Anna Jay in the main event to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship. As a result, Shida punched her ticket to AEW All In and will enter the bout as the reigning champion, defending the gold against Storm and the other two challengers.
