Veteran Wrestler AR Fox Shares His Surprise and Near Miss of AEW Contract Email on ‘Talk is Jericho

AR Fox, a seasoned wrestler who made his debut in 2009, recently shared his experience of receiving an unexpected contract offer from AEW (All Elite Wrestling). Speaking with Chris Jericho on “Talk is Jericho,” Fox recalled the moment he was offered the contract after the Death Triangle match, describing it as “nuts” and “crazy.” He was so taken aback that he didn’t know how to react.

“They offered me the contract after the Death Triangle match. It was nuts, it was crazy. I couldn’t really say anything. I was covering my face; I didn’t know how to react. They did it like they were going to do an after-match promo… ‘Oh, we just got word that Tony Khan is offering you a contract. What do you say?’ I might not have said anything. It just took me completely off guard,” Fox said.

Fox also revealed that he nearly missed the email containing the contract, as AEW sent it so quickly. He only saw it in the middle of the night when he couldn’t sleep. “Yeah, I’m calling them, showing them all of this stuff. I’m checking my email the next morning… they sent it so quick that I had missed it… I remember seeing it in like the middle of the night ’cause I just couldn’t sleep. It was nuts,” Fox added.

On July 26, AR Fox turned heel and joined Mogul Embassy.
