The Real Chief’s Gritty Training Regime Ahead of His Clash with Roman Reigns
In a recent vlog released by WWE, Jey Uso, also known as “The Real Chief”, takes us into his garage gym, the place where he’s been rigorously preparing for his upcoming Tribal Combat match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.
The video showcases Uso’s intense training regime and his mental preparation for the much-anticipated match. He reflects on his past encounters with Reigns, stating, “We’d have been to war before, three years ago, right? I know what it feels like to be in there with just me and him. He got me last time, right? Be mentally ready this time.”
Uso also expresses his excitement and nervousness about the upcoming match, which he describes as a real tribal combat between two Samoan warriors. He says, “The crazy thing is, we don’t know what’s going to happen. SummerSlam, in front of all these people, you know. All I know is, this is real to me. I’m excited, scared, nervous, because I got to do what I got to do to my family, my own family member, in front of the whole world.”
Despite the pressure, Uso is ready to face the challenge and determined to emerge victorious. “But I’m ready, though, he knows this, I’m ready to go to war. It’s my time now, man, it’s my turn,” he asserts.
The video ends with Uso completing his workout, stating, “All she wrote, Us, this is what the people don’t see.”
