The first match for AEW All In is set, promising a high-stakes showdown between MJF and Adam Cole
In a major announcement on the August 2, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion MJF revealed that he will be defending his title against Adam Cole at the upcoming AEW All In event. This announcement came as MJF was delivering a promo about his recent self-discovery in AEW, largely attributed to his dynamic tag team with Adam Cole.
MJF invited Adam Cole to the ring and, in a surprising twist, stated that Cole didn’t just deserve a match for the AEW World Championship, but he deserved it at the biggest event in AEW history, All In. MJF then presented Cole with a contract for the championship match at All In, which Cole promptly signed, seemingly without reading any of it.
The segment ended with a glimpse of a frustrated Roderick Strong backstage, throwing and breaking things. He was approached by Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, who reminded him that Adam Cole has a history of forgetting his friends.
With this high-stakes match set, fans are eagerly awaiting the AEW All In event.
