Leah Van Dale, AKA Carmella, Proudly Showcases Baby Bump in Empowering Runway Walk
WWE star Leah Van Dale, better known by her stage name Carmella, recently made a bold statement at Miami Swim Week. The 35-year-old wrestler, who is six months pregnant with her first child, confidently strutted down the runway, modeling swimwear by Remnant Bikinis.
Van Dale, who is expecting her baby with husband and fellow wrestler Matt Polinsky (known as Corey Graves to fans), described the experience as empowering. She expressed her newfound comfort and confidence in her body, challenging the stigma often associated with pregnancy.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Van Dale said, “I feel empowered. I feel like the best I’ve ever felt in my own body and I just feel there’s this stigma sometimes when you’re pregnant, you need to cover up, you need to just stay at home and just sit on the couch, be safe and grow your baby and be pregnant and it’s like, wait a minute, no. The world doesn’t have to stop, your life doesn’t have to stop just because you’re pregnant.”
Van Dale’s bold move on the runway is a testament to her belief that pregnancy should not limit a woman’s life or ambitions. Her empowering message is sure to resonate with many women, pregnant or otherwise, and challenge societal norms around pregnancy.
