AEW’s All In London event could see the addition of former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam to its star-studded lineup
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is gearing up for its All In London event on August 27th, and the promotion is looking to add some more star power to the mix. According to Fightful, internal discussions have been about bringing in former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam for the event.
The 52-year-old WWE Hall of Famer, known for his high-flying maneuvers and charismatic persona, has not wrestled on United States television in nearly three years. His last match was with Impact Wrestling. However, he has remained semi-active, competing every year since 1990 and even working a NOAH date in 2022.
One of the ideas mentioned was a potential match between Van Dam and FTW Champion Jack Perry at All In or All Out. However, nothing has been confirmed yet. If Van Dam does make an appearance at All In London, it would mark his first-ever appearance in AEW.
The addition of Van Dam to the All In London card could be a significant draw for fans, especially those who remember his time in WWE. However, it could also stir up some controversy among AEW stars, some of whom were reportedly upset when news broke that NJPW talent Will Ospreay was getting a match on the card.
