Despite a Decrease, the Show Still Pulls in the Second-Highest Audience Since June 21
The latest episode of AEW Dynamite saw a slight decrease in viewership, averaging 898,000 viewers on TBS, down 5.8 percent from the previous week. Despite the drop, it still managed to pull in the second-highest audience for the show since June 21. The 18-49 demographic rating also experienced a dip, down 14.7 percent from last week, tying with the second-lowest rating the show has achieved since May 17.
The episode faced stiff competition from Fox’s FIFA Women’s World Cup coverage, which averaged 4.381 million viewers and a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic. However, Dynamite outperformed all other shows on network television, barring the cable rankings that are currently unavailable.
Compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite’s total viewership was down by 8 percent, and the 18-49 demographic saw a decrease of 12.1 percent. Despite these figures, this week’s show was up 3.7 percent in overall viewers but down 3.3 percent in the 18-49 demographic compared to recent averages.
