NXT Ties its Best 18-49 Demo Rating Since October 2020, Signaling a Resurgence in Popularity
WWE’s Tuesday night edition of NXT continues to pull in impressive viewership numbers, averaging 703,000 viewers on the USA Network for the second week in a row. Despite a slight 5.8 percent drop from the previous week, this marks the first time NXT has drawn over 700,000 viewers in consecutive weeks since September 2021.
The show also saw a significant rise in the 18-49 demographic, drawing a 0.23 rating, up 9.5 percent from last week. This ties with the June 20 episode, where Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship, for NXT’s best 18-49 rating since October 2020.
The episode featured Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion from Raw, who defeated Lyra Valkyria in the in-ring main event. Ripley also kicked off the episode with new NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio.
Compared to the same week in 2022, NXT was up 17.2 percent in overall viewers and up 7.7 percent in the 18-49 demographic. This marks the third straight week the year-over-year increase in the 18-49 demographic has been at least 40 percent.
