The Queen of WWE Asserts Dominance, Claims Asuka Fears Her

In an exclusive interview following her victory over Iyo Sky on SmackDown, July 21, 2023, Charlotte Flair, the Queen of WWE, confidently declared her impending return to championship glory. She stated, “I think that no matter win or lose, I always have momentum. And that’s from all the experience and the opportunities I’ve had since I debuted on the main roster.”

Flair, a multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion, further claimed that current champion Asuka is afraid of her. “The only thing that tonight proved is that Asuka’s scared. She knows that the only way to get me down is from sneak attacks,” she said.

Flair also suggested that Asuka owes her gratitude for saving her from two attempted cash-ins. “I think that Asuka should be thanking me for saving her from two attempted cash-ins where she almost lost. So, it shouldn’t have been a German tonight. It should have been a thank you, Charlotte, I still have my title because of you,” she added.

The Queen ended her interview with a bold prediction for the upcoming SummerSlam event, “But she’ll get her receipt when it’s time for SummerSlam and my five and O streak. It’s gonna be six and O.”
