Upon returning to WWE, Karrion Kross made a grand entrance by attacking Drew McIntyre during a SmackDown episode in August of the previous year. Subsequently, he engaged in a fierce feud with Rey Mysterio, and now finds himself in an ongoing rivalry with AJ Styles.

Speaking on The Undisputed Podcast With Bobby Fish, Karrion Kross revealed that his decision to regrow his hair was influenced by an enticing movie role rather than a career change in wrestling.

“I was so married to this character presentation,” he explained, citing inspiration from Tom Hardy’s portrayal of ‘Bronson.’ The movie opportunity presented itself after his WWE release, offering him the lead role in a project that seemed like a sure thing. The movie production requested him to grow his hair for the character, a proposition he gladly accepted. Although the film’s schedule was repeatedly postponed due to COVID-19 and other factors, Kross chose to keep his hair, embracing the change.

Despite suggestions to revert to his old NXT look, Karrion Kross held firm to his newfound appearance. As WWE fans eagerly anticipate his future trajectory as “The Harbinger of Doom,” only time will tell whether the company has significant plans in store for this enigmatic superstar.
