In a recent video titled “Dominik Mysterio wants more respect: SmackDown on FS1 exclusive, July 21, 2023,” WWE presents an exclusive interview with the new NXT North American Champion, Dominik Mysterio. The video, which has garnered over 31,000 views, showcases Mysterio’s demand for respect and recognition.
The video begins with Cathy Kelley preparing to discuss the upcoming United States Championship invitational. However, she is interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who insists that the focus should be on him, the new NXT North American Champion. Mysterio expresses his dissatisfaction with the lack of recognition he’s received, stating, “I feel like I’m the champion of the United States, Canada, Mexico. So, I should be getting more recognition than this.”
Mysterio’s demand for respect extends to his personal life as well, as he refers to his father, Rey Mysterio, as a “deadbeat dad.” He also criticizes Kelley’s dog, comparing it to his father due to its small size.
Despite the tension, Kelley manages to steer the conversation back to the upcoming events, including the Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam and the face-off between Roman Reigns and Jay Uso.
