WWE Superstar Explores Voice Acting and Film Endeavors while on the Mend
Despite his absence from in-ring action due to injury, Big E continues to captivate fans with his genuine personality and charisma. While recuperating, he has delved into various endeavors and recently shared insights into his array of projects.
After his triumphant WWE Championship win in 2021, Big E’s reign may have been short-lived, but it left a lasting impact on fans. He has been sidelined for over a year since suffering a broken neck on the March 11, 2022, episode of WWE SmackDown. However, Big E has kept himself busy with numerous appearances across various shows.
During an interview with Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves on WWE After The Bell, Big E revealed how he has been spending his injury hiatus. Embracing his nomadic spirit, he expressed his love for travel and the excitement it brings. Additionally, he disclosed his involvement in diverse projects that have piqued his interest.
“Yeah, man, I realized my time on the road has definitely made me a Nomad. As hard as you know, we often complain about the travel. But I also realize that I need to travel. I can’t sit at home for too long, I get bored. But I love jumping into different projects, and one of the things that I also love is that when I first started wrestling, I loved the athletic side. That was the reason to continue as an athlete. But I developed a love for storytelling when I got further in my career.
So right now I’m working on doing more voice acting. THERE IS nothing I can announce right now, but I have some really cool things that are already completed. And soon within the next few months I could talk about [them]. We also have our short film, which I want to talk about in-depth, but I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s amazing.”
Despite feeling great, Big E made it clear that there is no specific timetable for his return to in-ring action. His focus lies on the multitude of endeavors that currently enrich his life.
