Redmond to Serve as Backstage Interviewer and Co-host of Live Event Kickoff Shows, Among Other Changes in WWE’s Broadcasting Team
WWE has announced a significant reshuffling of its broadcasting team, with Jackie Redmond stepping into an expanded role from July 1st. Redmond will serve as a backstage interviewer for Monday Night RAW, working alongside Byron Saxton. Additionally, she will co-host WWE’s premium live event kickoff shows with Kayla Braxton, Booker T, and Peter Rosenberg. Despite her increased responsibilities, Redmond will continue to contribute to studio work throughout the year and maintain her roles with NHL Network and WBD Sports during the hockey season.
With over a decade of experience in sports broadcasting, Redmond has made her mark as a host and reporter for NHL Network, WBD Sports, and Rogers Sportsnet in Canada. She joined WWE in 2021 as the co-host of Raw Talk and Talking Smack, quickly becoming a familiar face to WWE fans.
In other changes, Megan Morant is set to take on an expanded full-time role at WWE’s Stamford studios. She will serve as the host for Raw Talk, SmackDown LowDown, international shows for television, and various digital shows, including the Monday Night Raw sidecast on Twitch.
Cathy Kelley, another well-known figure in the WWE universe, will be moving to Friday Night SmackDown, where she will join Kayla Braxton as a backstage interviewer.
These changes underscore WWE’s commitment to enhancing their broadcasting team and providing a top-tier experience for fans during their programming.
