Bruce Prichard Speaks Out Against Fans’ Disruptive Behavior

Wrestling Veteran Bruce Prichard Condemns Fans Throwing Objects at Wrestlers

In a recent video, Bruce Prichard, a well-known figure in the wrestling industry, expressed his frustration with fans who throw objects at wrestlers during events. Prichard described this behavior as “low brow, low class and should never be done.”

Prichard shared a past incident where the crowd got out of control during a Heart Foundation match, throwing trash at the wrestlers. Despite the ring announcer’s warning that the show would be stopped if the behavior continued, the fans only threw more objects. Eventually, Vince McMahon himself had to come out and personally plead with the crowd to stop.

Prichard emphasized the potential danger of such actions, saying, “You’re throwing it at someone, you come up short, you hit a kid. It’s very selfish, very immature, and very déclassé, a low brow thing to do in any sporting event. I think it’s horrible.”

He also shared his experiences as a ring announcer at the Sam Houston Coliseum, where he would have to make announcements during matches to discourage fans from throwing things. However, these announcements often killed the heat of the match and sometimes even encouraged more disruptive behavior.

As a performer, Prichard stated that it’s horrible because you don’t know what’s coming at you. As a spectator, he wouldn’t want to attend an event where there’s a risk of getting drenched in beer because someone decided to throw their drink.

Prichard concluded by saying, “I’m not going to take my kids somewhere where people are throwing things. That is about as low class as you can get.”
