Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.63 Improves Quests, Gameplay, and Performance on PS5

CD Projekt RED has released update 1.63 for Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5, bringing a number of improvements to the game. The patch includes fixes for several quests, tweaks to the gameplay, and performance improvements.

Quest Fixes

One of the most notable changes in update 1.63 is the fix for the “The Pickup” quest. This quest was previously bugged, preventing players from completing it. The patch fixes this bug, allowing players to complete the quest as intended.

Another quest that has been fixed is “Ghost Town.” This quest was also previously bugged, causing it to soft lock. The patch fixes this bug, allowing players to complete the quest without issue.

In addition to these two quests, update 1.63 also fixes a number of other quest bugs. These include bugs that prevented players from completing certain objectives, bugs that caused the quest to progress incorrectly, and bugs that caused the quest to soft lock.

Gameplay Tweaks

In addition to the quest fixes, update 1.63 also includes a number of gameplay tweaks. One of the most notable changes is the improvement to the AI behavior of enemies in combat. Enemies will now be more aggressive and will use a wider variety of tactics.

Another gameplay tweak that has been made is the reduction of the amount of damage that enemies deal in the early game. This will make the game more challenging for experienced players, but it will also make the game more accessible to new players.

Performance Improvements

In addition to the quest fixes and gameplay tweaks, update 1.63 also includes some performance improvements. CD Projekt RED has not released any specific details about the performance improvements, but players have reported seeing some improvements in frame rate and load times.

Overall, update 1.63 is a welcome addition to Cyberpunk 2077. The quest fixes will help players who were having trouble completing certain quests, and the gameplay tweaks will make the game more enjoyable for everyone. The performance improvements are also a nice bonus.

If you’re a fan of Cyberpunk 2077, I recommend downloading update 1.63. It’s a small patch, but it makes a big difference.
