Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose hints at the possibility of returning to in-ring action
Once hailed as NXT’s top performer and Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose experienced an abrupt halt in her wrestling journey when she lost the title to Roxanne Perez in December of last year. Her subsequent release from WWE stunned many, with fans pointing out what they perceived as a double standard within the company. However, recent indications suggest that Rose has not completely ruled out the possibility of returning to in-ring competition.
Rose’s departure from WWE resulted from the content she posted behind her premium content paywall, which raised eyebrows across the industry. Surprisingly, reports emerged that she was not given a chance to remove the said content before her release.
Despite the setback, Rose managed to generate an impressive $1 million through FanTime last year, bringing joy to her dedicated fanbase. She has consistently engaged with her followers and consistently uploaded captivating content, keeping her supporters entertained.
During an appearance on The Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Show on I95 Rock, Mandy Rose touched upon her future in professional wrestling. While her path seems somewhat uncertain, Rose made it clear that she is not completely ruling out a return to the squared circle.
“I’m on a little bit of a different path now, I’m in a transitional phase. I’m no longer with WWE right now. Not to say that I won’t wrestle in the future, I’m not really sure, but I’m taking a break right now and focusing on my skincare line, my other brands, DaMandyz Donutz, and assisting at my dad’s deli. I have some plans in the works that I want to help out with and pursue. My dad is pretty old school, so I want to give it a fresh perspective. I have some ideas. Moreover, I’ve been keeping busy on my exclusive fan site, FanTime, which has allowed me to connect deeply with my fans. It’s been an incredible experience, and I can’t complain—it’s been great.”
Furthermore, Mandy Rose has expressed interest in a potential “Baywatch” remake, demonstrating her desire to explore new avenues outside of professional wrestling. Her immediate focus does not appear to revolve around a future in the wrestling industry, but her next move remains to be seen.
