WWE NXT is set to host a two-week special event dubbed “NXT Gold Rush,” featuring a series of high-profile matches. During the announcement, Shawn Michaels revealed that the event would take place on the 20th and 27th of June, with several championship matches lined up.
On June 20th, fans can look forward to a World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. The NXT North American Championship will also be on the line as Wes Lee takes on Tyler Bate, with Mustafa Ali serving as the special referee. The night will also feature a number-one contender match with Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, Brooks Jensen, Josh Briggs, Malik Blade, and Edris Enofe. Dana Brooke will face Cora Jade, and a pep rally for Thea Hail is also scheduled.
The following week, on June 27th, Carmelo Hayes will defend his NXT Championship against Baron Corbin. The NXT Women’s Championship will be up for grabs as Tiffany Stratton challenges Thea Hail. The NXT Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Gallus faces the number one contender match winner.
