Logan Paul Acknowledges Bad Bunny’s Surprising Success in WWE
Logan Paul recently engaged in a comparison between his own achievements in WWE and the unexpected success of Bad Bunny in the wrestling world.
Highlighting a significant distinction between the two, Paul pointed out that he possessed an athletic background prior to stepping into the ring, unlike Bunny. During a recent episode of his Impaulsive show, Paul expressed his astonishment, stating that Bunny “has no business being as good as he is.”
Paul stated:
“The difference is this – and this is what I say to people who are trying to compare me and Bad Bunny in the WWE – I wrestled in high school, I did sports and athletics. I am a YouTuber, but I’m an athlete, bro. I was an athlete first, I always have been.”
Continuing his remarks, Paul added:
“I can still surprise people because I’m a YouTuber, but I was an athlete first. Bunny is a musician, dude, he has no business being as good as he is. He comes in there and he crushes it.”
Bad Bunny has made a notable impact in WWE, wrestling in three matches to date, including his participation in the men’s Royal Rumble match in 2022. His showdown against Damian Priest at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico was acclaimed by renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, who awarded it a rating of four and a half stars.
Additionally, Bunny teamed up with Priest and achieved victory against The Miz & John Morrison at WrestleMania 37, a match that Meltzer rated three and a half stars.
As for Logan Paul, his WWE return is highly anticipated, with his advertised appearance on next Monday’s edition of Raw in his hometown of Cleveland. Paul’s last wrestling bout took place at WrestleMania 39, where he faced Seth Rollins in a match that Meltzer also rated four and a half stars.
As the worlds of entertainment and sports continue to converge, the success and abilities displayed by individuals like Bad Bunny and Logan Paul only add to the allure and excitement of WWE.
