World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced the addition of nine new recruits to its Performance Center for the Spring 2023 rookie class. The announcement was made via a YouTube video, introducing the fresh faces set to begin their training at the company’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The nine new recruits include:
1. Ezekiel Balogun: A 25-year-old former University of North Florida basketball player, standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 238 pounds. He was born in Nigeria and was on the ASUN Conference Academic Honor Roll for 2019-2020.
2. Vlad Pavlenko: A 26-year-old former Iowa State University track & field athlete and a three-time All-American.
3. Hunter Smallback: A 23-year-old former defensive end at Stetson University, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 227 pounds.
4. Coy Wanner: A 24-year-old former tight end at the University of Wisconsin, standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 247 pounds.
5. Andrzej Hughes-Murray: A 25-year-old former outside linebacker at Oregon State University, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 247 pounds. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
6. Kevin Robertson: A former defensive lineman at Temple University, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 290 pounds.
7. Melanie Brzezinski: A 22-year-old University of Tampa alumni, bodybuilder, CrossFit athlete, and karate black belt.
8. Tylynn Register: A former Jacksonville State University track & field athlete, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall.
9. Alexis Gray: A 25-year-old former Texas Southern University sprinter, born in the Bahamas.
With this new batch of recruits, WWE continues to invest in fresh talent, ensuring the future of the sport remains bright and competitive.
